Guillermo Musé was born in Montevideo, Uruguay.
He received a B.A. in Social Communication and a Master Degree in Cinematography from the Maine Media Workshop, Rockport, USA. Then he studied at The American Society of Cinematographers, ASC Master Class, Los Angeles, California, USA. He is currently filming worldwide in various countries such as Brazil, USA, Mexico, Chile, Spain, Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, Ecuador. His commercials were awarded at the Cannes Festival (2021) with two Lions, New York Festival (2021/2022) Clio Award (2021/2022), El ojo de Iberoamérica, Cíclope, among others.
He got familiar with Film and Advertising industry working as camera assistant, and first camera operator. He then acted as Director of Photography, shooting documentaries about the creative process of international renowned visual artists. Also music videos, fashion films and commercials for companies such as, Stella Artois, Apple, Johnnie walker, Dîners Club, Mitsubishi, L´Oréal, ESPN, Sportv, Coca~Cola, Mc Donald´s, Visa, KFC, Chevrolet, American Express, Claro, Bayer, Avon, Human Rights, Latam, American Airlines.
Fluency in several languages such as spanish (native), english, french and portugues, one of his many skills. He's available to work around the globe.
Guillermo is passionate about photography, sculpture, painting and storytelling. His pictures reveal a strong sense for esthetics, careful use of light and shadows generating atmospheres that transmit deep and subtle moods.
